TMTanglers held its fall tournament at beautiful Lake Martin again on November 6th and 7th.  All three teams enjoyed nice accommodations at Burke Cove and enjoyed excellent meals at the Red Hill Country Store.  The temperatures were in the 40s in the morning and 70s in the afternoon.  Perfect fall weather.

For the most part the fish bit good.  Everyone caught fish on a wide variety of patterns.  Catching 12 was tough though, and they seemed skinnier than usual.  Chris Jackson brought his lovely wife Beth and she fished the whole tournament with a cast on her broken foot.  What a trooper.

This tournament had a 7 fish creel limit and 12 size limit.  The winning two day weight was 19 lbs 5 oz by Bill Greene and Russell Fackler.  They reported catching fish on topwater early and good ole finesse worms for the rest of the day.  Big fish was a 2 lb 6 oz spot caught by Lance Granger on a oz spinnerbait.

Bill and Russell's victory marks the first time our little club has had a team win every official tournament to sweep an entire season.
