Venice Marina now has several trailers set up to rent. They are $150 a night. One BR has two bunk beds (sleeping 4). Another has a double bed. Skip, Bill and I have rented trailers. You can stay with us or rent one on your own.

LIMITS
We will use the inshore tournament rules. Basically everyone will put $30 in the pot. Payouts will go to biggest speck, redfish with most spots, and biggest flounder. Artificial lures only.
NOTES:
Only biggest redfish and biggest speck will count towards the Top 10 lists. (Bill and I seeded the Top 10 Specks and Top 10 Redfish lists in 2004 and there has not been a new entry since then!)
Speck fishing with artificials should not be that great this time of year.
Flounder, Bass, and redfish fishing should be excellent.
If for some reason the river is high the trip will be cancelled. (It is usually low that time of year.)
We will leave from Birmingham on the morning of August 30. We will stop at the Super Wal-Mart and Academy Sports in Slidell, LA for provisions.
We will drive back on Labor Day, Monday, September 3.
